Employment Opportunities: Engineer – Structural / Mechanical

Mechanical / Structural Engineer will work within the direction of a Senior Engineer and the Manager of Engineering. The position requires a detailed individual who is dedicated to growing professionally.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

1. B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (preferred), and 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
2. Knowledge of industry / engineering practices.
3. Interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals, departments and organizations, both internal and external.
4. Computer literacy in PC operations including networking and working knowledge of computer-aided design programs, including ACAD (required), Solid Works (Preferred) MS Project, Word, and Excel.
5. Some knowledge of Executive VIP Interiors including Galleys, Cabinets, Lavatories, Seats, Divans, Closets and other Monuments preferred.
6. Ability to travel as necessary to perform the function of the job.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design new or modify existing designs of executive aircraft interiors and structures.
2. Ability to manage and execute assigned tasks.
3. Observe company rules and regulations, including housekeeping, proper attire, and proper and safe use of operating equipment.

LIMITATIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

1. Office and aircraft facility environments.
2. Occasional exposure to aircraft engine noise and fumes.
3. Occasional exposure to seasonal weather.
4. Occasional travel required.
