Executive Aircraft Completions acquires AVHAR Services, Inc.

Business jet completions engineering company expands to meet growing demand

Executive Aircraft Completions of Tulsa, OK (EAC) has acquired AVHAR Services, Inc. of San Antonio, TX. The company, which has been renamed Executive Aircraft Completions - San Antonio, will continue to operate from its current facilities for the near term.

AVHAR's expertise in avionics and electrical engineering and certification complements EAC's existing mechanical systems, structures, interiors and certification capabilities, and will extend EAC's presence to the San Antonio area. The newly-acquired company holds numerous avionics STCs and PMA approvals and is experienced on Boeing, Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault, Gulfstream, Raytheon, and Sabreliner business aircraft.

Randy Harper, founder of AVHAR, will manage EAC's San Antonio office and will lead the EAC avionics/electrical group. He will report to Rick Richardson, EAC's vice-president and general manager. The San Antonio operation will maintain its activities with current customers and will support long-term work on Bombardier and Boeing aircraft recently awarded to EAC.

Richardson said the addition to EAC's capacity will be of direct benefit to its current and future customers. "Our combined experience in all facets of large-aircraft completion engineering will enable the comprehensive, turn-key capability our customers are seeking," he said.

EAC specializes in the design, engineering, certification and program management of custom interiors for large executive aircraft, and supports completion centers, interior designers, and aircraft owners and manufacturers worldwide.

It is a subsidiary of Yankee Pacific, LLC, an aviation investment and business development company headquartered in Rye, New Hampshire.
